CARI Complex Aquatic/Arena Facility
This project includes the construction of two (2) ice surfaces, competitive pool, recreational pool, and leasable space. The delivery of this project is through the fast-track process with work onsite started and design continuing.
A geothermal heat transfer HVAC system was incorporated in the mechanical systems. This allowed the transfer of heating/cooling energies within the facility to minimize requirement of external energy sources. It also incorporated a geothermal well water system to supplement heating/cooling requirements.
MCA Consultants Inc. were the prime mechanical consultant and responsible for the design of plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, pool water treatment systems, refrigeration plant and controls for this facility.
Construction Cost: $18,000,000.00
