Summary
BioVectra is an Atlantic Canadian Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) operates several pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in the Charlottetown area as well as Windsor, Nova Scotia.
Facilities include offices, warehousing, research, development, laboratories, and active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing. Operations are conducted in accordance with the Health Canada, US FDA, and European Pharmacopoeia regulations.
MCA Consultants Inc. has worked closely with the BioVectra Engineering group to deliver numerous capital projects at their various sites. Prince Edward Island projects originated with the initial FDA Regulated Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facility construction in 2002 and has continued through numerous projects over the past 20 years. The most recent large capital project was the construction on a new 66,000 sq.ft API manufacturing facility addition to their 11 Aviation site.
In addition to the complete facility engineering services delivery, MCA Consultants Inc. provides specialized process design services, as well as full project and construction management services from initial concept study phase through to project completion.
