Jason Leadbetter – P.Eng., MASc, LEED AP BD+C

 

Jason has been engaged in innovative and complex engineering projects for over 10 years. Jason began his    engineering career with a B.Eng in mechanical engineering and continued through to a MASc in Mechanical Engineering specializing in energy storage system design, controls, and applications.

Jason moved on to manage the technical development and implementation of a cutting edge intelligent load management (demand response) pilot project as well as a high-efficiency/load management heating solutions  program with Nova Scotia Power.

Jason continues his work at the forefront of complex, efficient, and sustainable projects with MCA across a variety of industries including commercial and industrial facilities, data-centres, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Jason offers  strong knowledge, capabilities, and experience in the areas of mechanical (HVAC/Plumbing/Piping/Central Plant) design, design management, mechanical and process system commissioning, project and construction management, and application of innovative energy technologies. Jason also offers specialty knowledge of cleanroom and associated mechanical systems, process design/commissioning, and pharmaceutical clean utilities (clean steam, purified water/WFI, clean air).

Jason is also actively involved in committee and community activities having volunteered in support of charitable organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Phoenix House, Relay for Life, Feed Nova Scotia as well as being involved in numerous conference planning and safety committees.
