ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Prince County Hospital is the second largest hospital complex on the island. New facility was built in Summerside and opened its doors in April 2004. This facility has 110 beds capacity and provides a wide range of emergency, inpatient, outpatient and community-based health and wellness services.

MCA Consultants was honored to be an engineering company that serves as trusted consulting team for professional mechanical design services for PCH complex starting from base building to additions and localized modernization tasks:

  • Mechanical systems for base building in 2003 – Budget $50,000,000.00
  • Dialysis center in 2011 – Budget $2,700,000.00
  • Server room upgrade in 2011
  • Ambulatory Care and Women’s Wellness in 2016 – Budget $5,350,000.00
  • Mental Health unit upgrade in 2019
  • Emergency generator room in 2020
